What are approved domains?

We've introduced something called approved domains. These are all of your companies domains (e.g. www.cybersmart.co.uk) which are in use. We use these approved domains for the CyberSmart mobile app to correctly detect which organisations you are connected to and for users of that organisation to successfully log into the mobile app. You need to app an approved domain in order to log into the mobile app. 


Who does this affect? 

This only affects organisations on the CyberSmart platform which are setup with Bulk Deployment - one of two app deployment methods. You can find out which deployment by: 

  1. Log into your CyberSmart platform.
  2. Click on the tab called "Manage Org", which automatically directs you to another page called "Organisations Settings" 
  3. On this page under "App deployment method" you will see the two options.


How do I add an approved domain?

Adding an approved domain takes less than 30 seconds to do.

  1. Log into your CyberSmart platform.
  2. Click on the tab called "Manage Org", which automatically directs you to another page called "Organisations Settings" 
  3. From the list on the left hand side, select "Approved Domains"
  4. In the text box, input your companies domain and click "Add"

This . will add your companies domain and will allow users of that organisation to successfully log into the CyberSmart mobile app.
