What Is CyberSmart Academy in New & Improved Active Protect
CyberSmart Academy is designed to educate your employees on the cyber threats they face in the workplace and how to avoid them.
The CyberSmart Academy appears as a new tab in your desktop application, called Academy. The training is broken down into bite-sized modules, each of which should only take 10 minutes to complete.
There are eighteen modules in all, each covering the most common security issues faced by any business as well as practical advice on how to counter them.
For the best results (and to keep security fresh in employees' minds), we recommend users complete one module every month.
These modules have a due date following this schedule (beginning from the date the user gains access to the CyberSmart Academy). It will be shown in their application that the training is overdue and by how many days.
Currently, you cannot change or turn off the due dates.
Dashboard administrators have the ability to see a high-level view of which training modules have been completed and how many users have modules outstanding.
