Can I use my own scanning tools for the assessment?

You may use a scanning tool from approved vulnerability scanning vendors to carry out the required tests for Cyber Essentials Plus. The tool’s vendor must be certified by PCI in order to carry out the vulnerability scans and appear on this list.

If you do not already use an approved tool, CyberSmart will provide you with Qualys agents free of charge.
