How do CyberSmart Reports Work?

At CyberSmart, we understand the value of reports to our customers. Reports can give you clear visibility of your company’s (or your customers’) security status. Like our report on failing devices, for example.

So in this article, we’ll explain everything you need to know. What reports we offer, how to find them, and what they can tell you.

Our report feature covers a few key areas which will be explained in more detail below.

Each report covers a different product or feature we offer at CyberSmart, with the aim to summarise data and inform the organisation admin of their business and users’ current status.

This feature can be accessed from the main dashboard by selecting the ‘Reports’ tab on the left-hand side in the navigation window.

From this tab, the first option to view is the Active Protect Security Report. This will show all those devices which are passing or failing checks.

This section will give the admin a breakdown of all those devices with CyberSmart Active Protect installed and running. The dashboard offers different views and filters to help pinpoint specific devices. The admin for the organisation can filter this view by mobiles or desktops, and each check can be drilled into by clicking the arrow next to the check highlighting which devices are failing this check.

The other sections at the top of the report page can be viewed by clicking on the title of each. These act as gateways into other sections of the reports dashboard to show the admin different information relevant to their users and devices.

The end of life report will give you a breakdown of the devices which are nearing their end of life and let you know that these are ready to be updated to a new release or retire the device if that option is not available.

When systems or software reach End of Life (EOL), they no longer receive critical updates or security patches, making them vulnerable to cyber threats. Accurate EOL reporting helps identify these risks early, supports strategic planning for upgrades or replacements, and ensures continued compliance with industry regulations. By proactively managing EOL assets, organisations can reduce downtime, control costs, and maintain customer trust.

The Smart Policies Report shows all the policies in an organisation and which CyberSmart Active Protect application users have read and agreed to them.

This can be used to identify users that still need to view and agree any policies.

This report expands slightly on the Smart Score you see on the dashboard homepage. It gives you an overall view of your business’s security status and suggests areas of your defences that require attention.

The Active Protect Security Report, Active Protect Vulnerabilities Report and the Smart Policies Report can all be exported to CSV. To do this all you need to do is navigate to the report you wish to export and then click the button labelled “Export CSV Report”.
